My coaching services can be tailored to meet the needs of anyone looking to develop a performance mindset, improve wellbeing or develop the motivation needed to achieve their goals.

The two main techniques I use are Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT).

The spirit of MI can be expressed by the PACE acronym: Partnership, Acceptance, Compassion & Empowerment. In essence the approach can be summarised as “I guide, you decide”.

REBT is an active/directive approach for helping individuals identify, examine and change limiting beliefs. It follows the ABCDE framework to help individuals adopt a more flexible mindset towards adversity and goal-attainment.

PERformance Mindset Packages

S1: TasteR OR Top-Up

The S1 is a single session and is typically used in 1 of 3 ways:

1) Reflecting on, and building strategies for, overcoming a specific challenge.

2) Identifying beliefs that might be holding you back from accomplishing a specific goal.

3) A motivational interviewing session to help explore your motivation for a specific behaviour change challenge.

S2: Laying Foundations

The S2 is a 6 week program and whilst it will be tailored to your needs, an example plan would use a variety of tools including:

1) Specific Goal setting.

2) Visualisation of future identity.

3) MI to nurture motivation

4) REBT to challenge limiting beliefs

5) Evaluating and improving self-talk

6) Strategies for developing a growth Mindset.

S3: Embedding HEALTHY habits

The S3 builds on the S2 and focuses on embedding healthy habits and a performance mindset..

Progress is never linear and behaviour change takes time, commitment and ongoing support.

The 12 week program is ultimately designed to help you become your own performance mindset coach, and apply a performance mindset across the many pillars of life.

* Coaching notes and homework assignments will be sent to you after the session and I will allocate time for questions in between sessions.

For Amsterdam based clients, in person and/or walk & talk options are possible and preferred (the science says, exercise, nature and connection all enhance wellbeing!)

For non-Amsterdam based clients, sessions will be delivered via video call.
